    Your strategy clearly includes your environmental and social goals but you are not sure if you are having the impact you envisioned. I can help you develop or improve your governance oversight and/or impact management and measurement framework so that you can be confident that your efforts are making a positive difference. If your initiatives are not having the intended impact, I can help you understand why and address root causes

I am the AL in ‘ALtruism Consulting’. You can benefit from my ability to provide a customised solution to your specific challenges, leveraging over 25 years experience in strategy, finance, audit, risk management and operations leadership roles.  Importantly, I bring academic rigour and knowledge, along with a genuinely empathetic approach to your people and teams.

My story

After a 25+ year career, predominantly in the Financial Services industry, the revelations from the Australian Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry (2017-2019) prompted me to reconsider my career priorities. Resolving to pursue my personal purpose of ‘striving for the greater good’, I took a leap of faith and launched my own consultancy to help organisations (both for-profit and not-for-profit) who want to make positive changes to achieve their goals.

Today, I juggle a rewarding portfolio career combining strategic consulting to selected clients across varied sectors, with teaching in the award-winning University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation program while pursuing academic research into my passions of behaviour change, problem-solving in complexity and social impact at the UTS Transdisciplinary School. I am thankful to be able to do this with the support of my beautiful family of 6 (including one canine child).
